Tours

Valencia City Tour                                                                                           Half day (4 hours) or Full day (7hours)

 

Enjoy an itinerary to discover the historical city centre and the most modern part of the city. Visit to the most outstanding monuments in the medieval city: North Station, Serranos and Quart Towers, Central Market, Lonja (Old Silk Exchange), Round Square, Cathedral, Holy Virgin Square as well as the exteriors of the Basilica and the Generalitat Palace. In the most modern part of the city the highlight is the new landmark of Valencia, the City of Arts & Sciences, an architectural complex designed by top architect Santiago Calatrava; located in the former Turia riverbed.

   

Modern Valencia                                                                                                                               Half day (4 hours)

 

Visit of the new landmark of the city, a state-of-the-art architectural and entertainment complex designed by Santiago Calatrava and located on the old riverbed with 5 different areas: Umbracle: palm-tree garden covered by a big iron structure as a monumental access portico that simulates a pergola. The Opera House called Palacio de las Artes, The Hemisfèric building conceived as a large human eye where IMAX movies, planetarium and laser shows are shown. The Science Museum, a huge interactive museum. Finally the Oceanographic, it is considered to be the largest and most important marine park in Europe.

Historical Valencia                                                                                                                           Half day (4 hours)

 

This visit is focused on the historical city centre and the most outstanding monuments: North Station, Serranos and Quart Towers, central Market, Lonja (Former Silk Exchange), Round Square, Cathedral, Virgen Square and the exterior of the basilica and the Generalitat Palace. Depending on the time available, this tour could also include lunch in a restaurant  in the city centre to taste famous Paella or a visit to a museum of interest.

Port America’s Cup Tour                                                                                                              Half day (4 hours)

 

This tour will take you along the old historic as well as the most modern part of the port. During the visit the guide will explain the history of the port, its changes during the different time periods as well as the major transformation it has undergone over the past few years in order to not only be the Host port, but to also celebrate one of the most important and prestigious trophy’s in the world: the America’s Cup. The tour will also include a visit in the America’s Cup House Museum, where one can learn about the history of the oldest sport in the world. There is the possibility to finish the tour with a boat trip in our 22m long Catamaran.

Valencia is a flat city, with large green areas and a historical city centre easily reachable via the cycle lanes and the slow traffic streets. Discovering the city with a bike is a different, original and a funny experience. Considering the profile of each group we can design the most suitable itinerary by bike departing from the hotel, conference centre, Port, etc. We have 3 standard routes:  (1) Former River bed – Old City – City of Arts & Sciences. (2) Former River Bed. (3) Albufera Natural Park: paddy fields, lake, forest and beach.

City tour by Segway                                                                                                                   Half day (1-3 hours)

 

Another way of discovering the city. Leaving  from Gobernador Viejo street  to Tetuan Square slope to the old channel of the river Turia and going towards the City of Arts and Sciences visiting  Exposición bridge, Palau de la Música. Visit the architectonic complex of the City of the Arts and Sciences that includes: the Palau of de las Arts Reina Sofia (Opera building), Museum of Sciences Prince Felipe, Hemisferic, pools and ascent to the Umbracle, cross the Bridge of Monteolivete and slope to the old channel from the river Turia in the direction of the Tetuan square and return.

This guided scooter tour shows the participants Valencia highlights from a different perspective. The best way to discover the Historic Old City of Valencia and sample the delights of the rich flavours of the Mediterranean Gastronomy. Tapas and “going for tapas” are a way of life in Spain. We love going from bar to bar, tasting different local dishes accompanied by a good wine and good conversation. On this tour, escorted by a guide, we will immerse ourselves into the real Valencian way of life, visiting the most beautiful buildings in the Old City and stopping at the most popular tapas bars, from the most traditional to the trendiest ones.

Fiesta Tour                                                                                                                                             Half day (4 hours)

 

Evening panoramic visit of the city’s most outstanding buildings: Bullring, North Station, City Hall, Lonja (old silk exchange), Central Market, Serranos and Quart Towers, and the impressive City of the Arts & Sciences with short walk along the Umbracle. The Visit will be concluded with the chance to enjoy a typical cocktail from the area: Agua de Valencia in any of the night clubs of the city.

La Albufera Natural Park                                                                            Half day (4 hours)  or Full day (7hours)

 

The Albufera Nature Park, located 11 km to the south of Valencia has the largest lake in Spain and it is considered a paradise for migratory birds. We will travel along the paddy fields until we reach El Palmar pier and take a boat journey across the Albufera lake to observe the birds reserves. After this, we will eat delicious paella in one of the best restaurants in the village of El Palmar, renowned for their typical Valencian gastronomy.

Wine Experience                                                                                         Half day (4 hours)  or Full day (7hours)

 

Requena is located 65 km to the west of Valencia and has a very old tradition of wine making. It is the capital of the prestigious Utiel-Requena wine area. We will visit one of the most popular wine cellars in the area. This tour includes a walk within the Barrio de la Villa (old city) declared national collection of historic-artistic buildings with two gothic churches, a remnant of the arab walls with a X century tower, the Alcazaba. The tour finishes with wine tasting in a typical wine cellar from the beginning of the 20th century.
